Terms of Service
ListThisMeal · Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of ListThisMeal (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. Who may use ListThisMeal
You must be 16 or older to use ListThisMeal, wherever you live. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account.
By creating an account — with an email address or with Google — you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your content
Your recipes, photos, lists and plans remain yours. When you share a recipe or a collection with anyone besides yourself — Public, Followers, or a published collection — you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it inside the app, to the people you shared it with. That licence ends when you make the content private or delete it. You also let us run the automatic check in section 3 on what you post, including a recipe you keep to yourself, since it can be shared later.
You confirm you have the right to post what you post, including any photo you upload.
Using a recipe is not private. When somebody saves your recipe or adds it to their meal planner, you are told who did it, and the people who planned it or shopped from it are named on lists on that recipe — a private account shows there as “Someone” to everybody but you. The same applies in reverse when you use somebody else's recipe, and the app says so before your first planner add. The Privacy Policy, section 3, has the details.
3. What you may not do
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Post a recipe you know to be unsafe, or deliberately mislabel allergens.
- Impersonate anyone, or scrape, resell or bulk-extract the catalog.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or work around its limits.
- Abuse the referral programme — for example by creating accounts to reward yourself. Rewards obtained that way are reversed.
You can block a person, and report a person, a recipe or a collection, from inside the app. Before something you post is saved, an automatic check may refuse words or a photo that look like they break these rules; it can be wrong, and you can tell us so from Help. A person you block is not told; you stop following each other, and their recipes, collections and activity stop appearing for you. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate an account, when these rules are broken.
How moderation works
- Reports are read by a person; we do not decide them automatically. The automatic check above only decides whether something can be saved.
- If we remove or limit something of yours, or suspend your account, we email you a statement of what we did, the facts and the rule behind it, and how to ask us to look again. Reply to that email and a person looks at it again.
- Anyone, with or without an account, can report illegal content at listthismeal.com/report.
- In the European Union you may also take a decision to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body, or to court.
4. Recipes and nutrition are not advice
ListThisMeal is a cooking and shopping tool, not a medical service. Allergy, health-condition and diet filtering is guidance based on the ingredients a recipe lists, and calorie and macronutrient figures are estimates — some of them produced by an AI model. Neither is a clinical guarantee. Always read the actual product labels, and talk to a qualified professional about anything that affects your health.
5. Subscriptions, prices and auto-renewal
ListThisMeal is free to use with limits. Two paid plans remove them. The prices below are the Philippine prices; in other countries Google Play charges its own price in your currency, and the app shows you that price before you buy.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | ₱229 | ₱2,190 | No ads and no daily limits, collections you can share, the meal planner |
| Group | ₱499 | ₱4,790 | Up to four people, each with everything in Pro, paid for by one member |
Your first month free. If you have never had a ListThisMeal subscription, your first month on a paid plan is free, as Google Play offers it. If you do not cancel before it ends, the plan renews into a paid subscription automatically and you are charged the price you were shown.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of every billing period — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your Google Play account is charged within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
How to cancel. Cancel at any time, at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling in the app's own settings is not possible — Google Play holds the payment method, so Google Play is where a subscription is cancelled. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Launch offer
While the launch offer runs, the first month of a monthly plan is free and the second month is ₱99 on Pro or ₱299 on Group in the Philippines, or Google Play's price for it in your country; the standard price applies from the third month. The offer has no closing date and we may withdraw it at any time; the price you were shown when you subscribed is the price you keep for that subscription. The offer is applied by Google Play at purchase time.
Payment, refunds and price changes
- All payments are taken by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's policy; ask Google Play directly. This does not take away any right the consumer law of your country gives you — for example, where it applies, the right to cancel within 14 days in the European Union or the UK.
- The table's prices are in Philippine pesos and include any tax Google Play collects. Elsewhere you pay Google Play's price in your own currency, with local tax.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. You will be told in advance and can cancel before the change takes effect.
Group plan
A Group subscription seats up to four people, one of whom pays. Members get Pro access for as long as the paying member's subscription is active. If it lapses, members return to the free tier at the end of the paid period.
What happens on the free tier
Free accounts can open a limited number of recipes a day and add a limited number to the shopping list a day, and are shown ads; the app shows the current numbers. If you stop paying, nothing you made or saved is deleted: the paid features close, and your meal plans are kept and come back if you subscribe again.
6. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or at listthismeal.com/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleting the account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through Google Play — cancel it in Google Play first, or you may continue to be charged.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop operating the service. If we shut down, we will give reasonable notice so you can get your content out.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the app. We try to avoid breaking things people rely on, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
